Ballarat Arms and Militaria Collectors Society
Since 1986
ABOUT US
The Society held its first meeting in 1986 and is based in Ballarat, an 1850's Gold Rush town in the State of Victoria in southern Australia.
We are now one of the largest firearm collecting organizations in country Victoria.
Our interests include the collection of Military and Sporting Longarms, Black Powder firearms, Collectable handguns, Edged Weapons & Knives, Ammunition and Ordnance, Badges, Medals, Uniforms, Maps, Books, Documents and General History.
We are one of six independent organizations in the State, all of whom having a firearm based collecting interest.
The Society is also an approved shooting organization (Hunting and Target Shooting) under the Victorian Firearms Act, so Members can hold category A+B arms using membership as "Reason to Own".

We publish a bi-monthly newsletter, "Fusillade", that we distribute to our membership and to other companion organizations around Australia.
For 30+ years, we have also organized an annual Arms and Militaria Fair in Ballarat and, intend to continue to do so.
The Society is happy to assists members of the public with answers to questions relating to our collecting interests.

SOCIETY MEETINGS
The Society holds general meetings on the last Wednesday of the month, except December, January and February.
Special meetings are held in November and February. Visitors and potential new members are always welcome.
VENUE: Scout Hall, 26 Orion St, Sebastopol, VIC.
TIME : Doors open at 7.00pm-ish, meetings start at 7.30pm
Getting there: If travelling out of Ballarat down Skipton Street towards Sebastopol, turn left into Sayle Street at the traffic lights at the ALDI supermarket, then drive to the end of Sayle Street and Turn right at the "T" intersection into Orion Street.
